I met DJ TALANTA in Mathare slums last week. And we talked for 2 hours. It was the SADDEST interview I have ever made. He was born Erick Kioko 30 Years ago. Erick was born in the sprawling Mathare slums where crime and poverty complete the shocking picturesque of the slum. Erick's mom was poor. Dirt poor and so,Erick couldnt afford education. Out of lack of school fees,Erick dropped out of school in class 3. And never went back to ANY school again. Ever.

And when he was around 7 years old,Erick became a MAN. By force of nature. He joined the labour industry while stil a child. And started collecting little pieces of used charcoal around Mathare's dumpsites for sale. He used to sell a full paperbag at Ksh.50. And he did that until he was 12 Years old.

At 12 Years,he quit selling used charcoal and got a simple job as a gateman to charge a video-viewing joint in Mathare. He used to charge people Ksh.5 to watch some "DJ" movie in Mathare. He used to get around Ksh.1,000 per month. And soon enough,he moved out to his own house when he was ONLY 15 Years old.

At 15 Years,Erick quit the movie-charging job and joined the crime world. Armed with a MASTER KEY,Erick and a team of 3 teenage boys started robbing homes. And shops. He would use the MASTER KEY to open people's doors and rob the houses empty.

And when he turned 17 Years,Erick bought himself a birthday gift. And that gift was a GUN. And since then,he graduated from using a Master Key to using a GUN to rob people. While he was still a teenager,he pointed a gun at hundrends of people across Nairobi stealing their phones, wallets, handbags, house property and entire bank savings. But even though he escaped death,ALL of his fellow teenage criminals were shot. And killed.

And when he turned 20 Years,he quit the crime world, sold his gun and became a matatu tout. For Route 46. And while still a matatu tout,he would play reggae music for people at Funerals in Mathare. He told me he used to love reggae to death since childhood.

Later,he got a real DJaying job in Kisumu. And used to spin at a Kisumu Hotel until circumstances following the 2007/8 Post-Election Violence saw him leave Kisumu in a huff.

When he got to Mathare,he realized that the Election Violence had worsened in Mathare. It was January 10th,2008.

Mathare was burning. And his mom had already been evicted from her house in Mathare. And was staying at the Airforce IDP camp. Erick joined his mom at the IDP camp.

And one evening,Erick left the IDP camp to go and inspect their childhood home deep in the Mathare slums. And as he was leaving the place at around 8pm at night,he heard wild screams. And saw a girl being raped by a total of 17 men.

He took a stone and threw to to those men to scare them away from the girl. There are numerous diversified high heels at christian louboutin shoes for sale. And as he was turning away to collect another stone,he felt a sharp pain tear through his body. And within a fraction of a minute,The mk handbags will provide you cheap but high-quality products.Erick's left hand was cut into half. And a piece of his hand fell to the ground. And Erick was covered in a pool of blood.

Painfully,Welcome to order your own Michael Kors Monogram on sale with 100% guarantee quality and low price.Michael Kors bags outlet are on sale, order now!he dragged himself to the Airforce IDP camp from where he was rushed to Kenyatta Hospital. At Kenyatta,Erick recieved a total of 700 injections to stop his blood flow.

He stayed at Kenyatta for 2 months. And when his wife discovered that he had NO left hand anymore, she left him. And went with their child too.

He would later be transfered from Kenyatta to Kikuyu Hospital by his friend,Njuguna.

Erick would now start a new life. A new, painful life. With NO job,NO hand and NO wife.

It was tough. And unbearable. And as he was giving me that story,I looked into his sad eyes and I thank God I didnt cry. It was so painful to look at him......

When he was released from Kikuyu Hospital,he went back to the slums. The Mathare slums. With NO money,NO hope and NO friends.

His family was gone. And ALL his investments too.

People in Mathare heard about his sad story and would discuss it in bars and kiosks and hotels for the next years.

And when one merciful lady heard his story, she offered to help him by washing his clothes for him every weekend. FOR FREE. And this kind woman even fell in love with him. And Erick married her in 2009.

And even though Erick did find a little job at Ghetto Radio to do his DJ mix over the weekend,he told me that he was still struggling terribly with little finances and a jobless wife.

Erick is a father to 2 extremely sweet kids...a girl and a boy....And he even sent me photos of his beautiful, welcome to michaels kors handbags sale,Free shipping‎!beautiful kids....

Despite everything,DJ TALANTA told me that he still had great faith in God. He told me that God was his strengh,Welcome to Michael Kors Shoulder Bags, the best place to get discount Michael Kors sale.his helper and dearest friend.

He also told me that he loved his sweet new wife to death. And that she was the reason he is breathing.
