Meanwhile, Djokovic extended his winning streak against Tsonga to six games and improved his head-to-head record against the Frenchman to 8-5
“It was a good match,” Tsonga said. “I missed maybe something in the first set. I was a break up and I was playing well.
“But then he played solid. It was really difficult to control him. I just tried to play my game, to be aggressive. But against a player like this, for the moment my level is not high enough to beat him,” said Tsonga, who's also expected to compete at the Shanghai Masters.
On the women's side, world's no.1 Victoria Azarenka clinched the China Open crown after besting Russian Maria Sharapova 6-3, 6-1 in the last Premier Mandatory Tourney of the WTA calendar.
Azarenka captured her first China Open crown and fifth women's singles title this season, putting her in a position to lock the year-end no.1 ranking.
Meanwhile, Japanese tennis sensation Kei Nishikori completed a Cinderella run in the Japan Open after beating big-serving Milos Raonic of Canada,bicycle saddles 7-6 3-6 6-0, to garner his second career singles title.
Nishikori, who pulled of a 7-5, 6-4 upset over Tomas Berdych in the quarterfinals and 6-2, 6-2 win over veteran Marcus Baghdatis,cheap designer handbags is expected to reach no.15 in the world ranking next week due to the victory.
